At ECCO, we have a distinct advantage over most medical venues.
Let’s face it, just going to a medical clinic or hospital during this time can be nerve-wracking, much less having a procedure done.
But, that’s not the case here.
For starters, parking is free and within feet of our entrance – no parking deck or large lot to get lost in. Next, patients walk directly into our reception area through our dedicated entrance – no lobby, elevator or stairwell to navigate. This significantly reduces exposure to other potentially sick visitors.
Everyone who enters ECCO is screened per CDC guidelines – delivery staff, vendors, patients and family members. Our staff are temperature screened daily, and ECCO has a strict quarantine policy should a member of our staff ever develop symptoms or travel (unnecessary to this point). None of our staff have second jobs at hospitals, or any other high risk location. Everyone in the office, including staff, wears a mask at all times.
We practice a “one in, one out” policy, meaning that we only treat or evaluate one patient at a time so the waiting room remains empty for the next patient’s arrival. Currently family members or friends are not allowed to wait in our waiting room during clinic visits or procedures. Family members and caretakers are allowed in clinic visits for patients with disabilities.
ECCO is proud to provide such a safe and low-exposure environment. Our location and small-size allows us to adapt with ease to the constantly changing regulations and guidelines. We will remain on the forefront of COVID prevention for as long as is necessary.
