When summer comes with bright sunshine and hot days, we all long to spend more time outside. While lazing around a pool or in a hammock under the shade of the trees is surely enjoyable, here are some great ways to spend time in the sun actively:
- Go hiking – nothing is more refreshing than a hike with friends or family. Pick a trail that is suitable for the level of fitness of the participants, pack some snacks and plenty of water and set off to a beautiful destination in your area;
- Find a good exercise class – many fitness centers offer great yoga, aerobics or kickboxing classes outdoors. You can usually choose the level of difficulty, so you can try something new without any previous experience this year;
- Go camping – grab a tent and your sleeping bag, then plan a camping weekend to the nearby mountains or woods. Try to find an area with lots of interesting spots that you can get to on foot – there is nothing more rewarding than walking and climbing during the day, then relaxing by the campfire, frying marshmallows;
